The Union's supreme governing document is the Memorandum and Articles of Association, which lays out the purpose of the SU and how it is to be administered. The Memorandum and Articles of Association can only be changed by a quorate General Meeting.
Bylaws are separate documents setting out the internal rules on how to conduct Union activities. The Bylaws can be amended through submission of a resolution to Union Council.
Any amendment to either the Bylaws or Regulations must be consistent with the Memorandum and Articles of Association.
