SocSoc - The Social Society

 

So, is it about Socks?

Unfortunately, no. SocSoc stands for the Social Society, basically we just do socials. However, since we don't have other stuff to concentrate on, we can make a whole host of diverse, different, original and awesome socials.

A wise old sage once said "a person isn't complete until they have raved oneself up, in a sombrero"; I personally agree with these sentiments, but gosh darn it, I've never done that! OK, I lied about the sage, but it seemed like a good idea, and when do you ever see Sombrero Rave Nights?
The oxford dictionary defines socialise as:

 

socialise : verb 1. mix socially with others

 

And this is the only requirement for our socials. SocSoc takes all the questions, and finds the answers (so long as it's about socialising) - Inside? Ouside? Close or Far? Daytime? Nightime? Breakfast club? Music? Food? Dress? Lights? et cetera, et cetera. SocSoc aims to help make a diverse social scene for Warwick Students, and "break the bubble".

How can I get involved?

 

There are many ways to get involved in SocSoc, and the society does better the more involved you get! SocSoc Members help create and run events from the brainstorming stage, so that the Society offers what the membership wants. No matter how unfeasible or ridiculous an idea may sound, we want to hear it; in essence, the society is literally what you make of it! Or, members can simply go to the events (at members cheaper price) and come on off-campus socials.
