Refreshers 2010 - The Showcase

Refreshers is a chance for societies to recruit new members at the start of term 2. It's an ideal opportunity for societies set up in the first term, any societies that are struggling for members, or just anyone that wants to get a few more people involved to increase their membership figures.
Format
Traditionally, Refreshers was a fair, much like the Societies Fair at the start of term 1. It was notoriously poorly attended and created a whole lot of work whilst generating barely any members. This year, we're trying something a bit different. We're going to give the opportunity for people to showcase their activities to everyone who is around. It will work a bit like this:
We'll have a couple of blue boards and some space marked out in the Atrium of the SU building during the daytime. Societies will be able to book a slot of up to an hour to showcase their activities, hand out flyers etc. to inform the people in the Atrium of their society and its activities. This slot time includes your setup and setdown times. There will also be a till there where people will be able to purchase memberships there and then. Make sure you let people know that it's there!
Showcase Slot Application Form
To apply for a slot for your society please fill out the short form below. The slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so the sooner you send it in the more likely it is you'll get your first choice slot!
Slots will be available between 10am and 3pm, Monday - Wednesday and Friday of week 1. Please give your three preferred timeslots in order of preference:
