Well!
The cardboard signs have all been taken down, and the votes are in – we officially have a new Student Officer team to lead the SU next year! Thanks as always to everyone who voted, and congratulations to the winning candidates. You can check out the full results rundown online now via the SU website!
This week sees three very special events on campus. Green Week is your chance to find out more about sustainability issues both here at Warwick and in the wider world – there’s an incredible range of student-run events taking place which cover everything from repair and swap shops to talks, film screenings and food recycling at Disco Soup, so make sure you get involved. It’s everyone’s planet!
Likewise, International Working Women’s Week sees Warwick students reflecting on the past, present and future of gender relations via a series of events including a Women’s Summit, a #ReshapingSport self-defence session and a discussion on unheard voices in the political world. Check out more info on the SU’s Facebook events calendar!
Finally, if you’re not sure what lies in store for you after graduation, make sure you come along to our alternative careers event, the Futures Festival, which takes place over four days this week in The Copper Rooms. Here, you’ll have a chance to check out careers you may not have even known existed in creative and non-profit industries, as well as connecting with students both past and present who can help you on the way to constructing your own future!
