Hello Postgrads!
Hope you’re enjoying campus getting autumnal at the moment, it is starting to look really picturesque. As the days get colder, make sure you’re looking after yourselves and keeping on top of things. As always, we’ve got loads of stuff going on for you to keep yourself busy as the nights draw in!
Last week, we held our second Postgrad Connections event! Thank you to everyone who came along and chatted all things organisation and time management – we discussed the importance of planning ahead, working out when you work best and organising yourself around that, and the importance of getting a good night’s sleep. We will soon be putting up some top tips on our website, so watch out for that!
We also had the first Postgrad Board Games evening of the year on Friday! It was great to see so many of you in The Dirty Duck playing such a big range of classic games – and thank you to the PG Hub and Tabletop & Roleplaying Society for supporting the event. There will be a number of these over the year, so watch out for future events!
This week, we have our All Student Vote, where you decide what your Students’ Union campaigns for. There are a number of issues to vote on, and polling opens on Tuesday at 9am, so head to warwicksu.com/asv to cast your votes!
Our PG accommodation survey is still available – I’ll be meeting with people from Warwick Accommodation next week, so you have until this Friday to fill it out! The more comments and feedback I get, the better, as we will be able to do more to improve the service for next year.
That’s all for now - remember, if you have any questions or concerns about anything, then feel free to email me via ellie.king@warwicksu.com or chat to me on Facebook at ‘Ellie King Warwick’.
See you soon,
Ellie.
