| My name is Ellie King, and I’ve been elected to serve as the Postgraduate Officer of Warwick Students’ Union for the coming academic year, as part of a team of 7 full-time elected Student Officers working on your behalf. I’m here to help the postgraduate community and support PG students during their time here – whether that’s putting on socials, advising students on academic issues, or providing support with wellbeing, housing, fees and other issues. | Most importantly, the SU is here for YOU. We provide 100s of student-run Societies and Sports Clubs to help you meet like-minded people, explore existing interests or try something new. Our Advice Centre team work throughout the year to help solve students’ problems and address their concerns. You may feel that your days as a Fresher are over, but there are still plenty of events to get involved with during the coming weeks – I’ll also be working closely with the PG Community Team throughout the year to bring you a range of social events! |
| And of course, there are endless opportunities to get involved - whether you want to become a Course Rep or Part-Time Officer and represent your fellow postgrads, vote in SU Elections or explore the many volunteering positions available. Alternatively, if you want to just grab a bite to eat with us or have a relaxed night out at one of our PG-focused events on campus, we’re here for that too! |
| The SU is a not-for-profit organisation, and all the money generated in our food outlets, bars and nightclub is directly reinvested back into services that benefit the student body as a whole.
