About Us Events Help & Information Get Involved Talk to us
Congratulations are due to everyone who represented or supported #TeamWarwick in Varsity 2018 over the weekend – we’re pleased to announce that we brought the trophy home for the 29th consecutive year!
The abundance of cardboard signs around campus during Week 8 means the return of the Spring Elections – this is YOUR chance to vote for the people who’ll be in charge of your Students’ Union next year, so it’s really important that you take the time to chat to the candidates around campus, read their manifestos and cast your vote!
Why does it all matter…? Simply put, because the SU is the focal-point of campus life here at Warwick – whether that’s providing social activities via Clubs & Societies, wellbeing support through campaigns and the Advice Centre, academic representation through our Course Reps, or entertainment and nourishment in our nightclub and food outlets. The students YOU elect to serve as Officers each look after a specific area of the SU, and can have a huge impact on your experience during your time at Warwick: in recent years, the 24-Hour Library, a lecture-free Welcome Week and rent freezes on-campus would not have happened without the support and lobbying of Sabbatical Officers, so they really do make a big difference!
Read on for more information, and don’t forget to vote this week – it’s your Students’ Union, so make sure you have a say in how it’s run.
