About Us Events Help & Information Get Involved Talk to us
Hello everyone,
The provisional results of last week’s SU Referenda are in – feel free to take a look at them via the link below! Students have voted overwhelmingly in favour of supporting the UCU strikes against the UUK’s reforms of the USS pension. I know that some of you will be looking for more information about the strikes – here at SUHQ we’re working on informative resources for you, so keep checking the SU website and Facebook page. In the meantime, the UCU website might be of interest: https://www.ucu.org.uk/strikeforuss
If you’re thinking of running for an Officer position in the upcoming Spring Elections, don’t forget that the nominations deadline is this Tuesday at Noon. This is your chance to really help effect positive change for both your fellow postgraduates and the student body as a whole, so please do consider putting yourself forward!
Speak to you soon,
Emily Dunford SU
Postgraduate Officer.
