For too long now, non-EU international students have been paying considerably higher fees than their Home/EU counterparts, and these levels have continued to increase year on year – often at unfair rates and without sufficient notice. That’s why the SU launched its new #FixTheFees campaign last week - make sure you read SU Education Officer HOPE WORSDALE’s blog post on the issue and sign our petition demanding action. As with previous campaigns, the more students who get behind it, the better our chances are of being able to enact change!
We hope you all had a relaxing Bank Holiday weekend - don’t forget that tickets for the 2017 Sports Ball are now on sale, and there are still a handful of tickets for both this and the Grad Ball available at the time of writing. We’re expecting that these will all go during the coming days, so don’t leave it too late to get yours if you’re planning on joining us there in Weeks 9 and 10!
