This is just a quick update for those of you still working hard on campus during the Easter Vacation – read on for more information about SU opening times, summer events and more. We’ll be opening applications for Welcome Helpers shortly, so make sure you keep checking the SU Jobs webpage this week if you want to help us out during the busiest time of the year!
If you’re interested in providing oversight on all aspects of the SU, don’t forget that we’re also currently recruiting students to sit on our Board of Trustees. Student Trustees help oversee the strategic governance and financial sustainability of the SU, as well as ensuring that all the decisions we make are in the best interests of the student body. This is a great opportunity to get a look at what goes on behind-the-scenes at a working charity, while the time commitment is only a few hours per month during term-time – see below for more information about how to apply.
Whatever you’re up to over the coming weeks, we hope you have a great Easter!
