Welcome back!

Term 3 sees exam season kick into life, and as always we’re here to help take the edge off – keep an eye out for our various welfare campaigns throughout the coming weeks to make sure you stay in the best physical and mental shape possible. The light at the end of the tunnel is of course our programme of big summer events – the Grad Ball, Societies Awards and Sports Ball. Tickets for this year’s Grad Ball go on sale to Finalists and their guests at midday today via the SU website!

Don’t forget too that we’re still looking for Student Trustees here at the SU – the deadline is tomorrow (26th April), so please see below if you’re interested in applying. Have a great first week!

The Graduation Ball is our big bash for Finalists and their guests, held in the splendour of the Birmingham Hilton Metropole. Tickets go on sale at Noon on Monday Week 1 and are expected to go fast!

We’re currently looking to recruit 4 new student trustees for the forthcoming academic year – see our website for more information about what the role entails and how you can get involved.

Fancy heading up a team of Freshers Helpers during the most exciting time of year? If so, applications for 2016 Freshers Supervisors are now open via the SU’s Jobs page.

University Vintage Fairs are back in the SU Atrium today if you want to head down and grab yourself a bargain!

We’re opening up our archives again this Wednesday for students to find out more about the SU’s history at Warwick and within the student movement at large.

Do you know a Final-Year student who’s made a real difference in the Warwick community? If so, nominate them for an Outstanding Student Contribution Award!

Applications are now open for International Orientation and Postgrad Welcome Week helpers if you’re interested in getting involved – deadline: 5th May.

The University’s Sustainability Team are running various events this term designed to get students thinking in greener ways – first up is a rubbish & recycling event this Thursday!

The Warwick Undergraduate Internship Programme (WUIP) is offering 11 paid 4-week sustainability and 8-week administrative internships during the 2016 summer vacation to current undergraduates entering their final year of study in autumn 2016.

The University is running a programme over the summer for students to develop their business acumen, likely to be of interest to those who’ve not been successful in securing internships but want to develop their commercial skills.
