Is there anything you’d like to help change about the University or SU? If so, don’t forget that nominations are now open for the Officer Elections 2016. This is your chance to put yourself forward for one of our Sabbatical or Part-Time Officer roles and represent your fellow students both locally and nationally. Whether your key interests are fees, politics, education, democratic engagement, representation, clubs & societies, welfare, campaigns or value-for-money, there’s sure to be a position that suits you.

Much discussion has been had regarding this year’s all-male Sabbatical Officer team – if you’re a woman who’s thinking of running in this year’s Officer Elections, please pencil 9th February in your diary as that’s when we’ll be holding an info meeting about the various positions soon to become available!

Visit the SU’s Democracy pages to find out which positions are available in this term’s Officer Elections, together with information about how you can stand as a candidate!

A special event where female students can find out more info about the upcoming Officer positions up for grabs and why they should consider putting themselves forward.

Come along and quiz the new Vice-Chancellor, Stuart Croft, on his first day in the job – the first of what will hopefully be many opportunities for students to have their say on issues affecting our University.

The list of provisional motions for Week 5’s All Student Meeting is now available to view online – stay tuned for the finalised list coming soon!

Make sure you get behind #TeamWarwick in our sporting clashes against Coventry University this term – fixture lists and tickets can now be accessed online!

Mental health can be a taboo subject in some BME households. This special student-run event aims to cover a range of topics surrounding mental health and create a space in which all feel at ease to discuss the topic.

Warwick Pride invite you to ‘Query a Queer’ this month – ask any anonymous question about LGBT+ness you like and they'll provide an answer before opening it up for discussion!

This week sees your student radio station, RaW 1251AM, broadcasting outdoors in the Piazza for 100 hours - non-stop, day and night - to raise money for the mental health charity, Mind.

Need help funding an extra-curricular project or activity? Week 4 is your last chance to apply for this term’s Opportunity Fund - applications close on 8th February.

Hogan Lovells will be visiting the Atrium between 11am-2pm this Wednesday to discuss their career opportunities – visit the SU event pages for more info.

Find out more about Lidl’s graduate programme on Thursday from 10am in the SU Atrium.

This week’s special is Spanish Sizzler – hot roast chicken with chunky chorizo in a spicy tomato sauce for £3.45.
