There’s big news from the PG Hub this week as they recently announced that they’ll now be opening until midnight on weekdays – check out the latest blog from your Postgraduate Officer below, and stay tuned for news about weekend opening coming soon! We’re also interested to hear from all PG Teachers about your schedules this week – more information can be found by clicking on the relevant subject heading below.

Whatever stage you’re at in your studies, we know that university life might not be living up to your initial expectations, or that some of you may be struggling to fit in or adapt to a new routine. That’s why we’re launching a brand new campaign and hosting drop-in sessions throughout the week in the Ikea Membership Space (situated next to the Chemist in the SU Atrium), where you’ll be able to chat to members of our Advice & Welfare team about anything that’s on your mind – whether big or small.

The other two big events on campus this week are the return of the All Student Meeting today (make sure you check out the motions and vote online from 9am on Tuesday if you can’t make it along), together with Pride Week: a celebration of the LGBTUA+ community on campus and around the world.

SU Postgraduate Officer NAT PANDA blogs on the revised opening times for the PG study space on campus – many thanks to everyone whose feedback helped make this happen!

The Hourly Paid Working Group is encouraging those who teach on an hourly-paid basis to complete a teaching diary this week to find out just how much work over and above what’s being paid is being done by postgraduate teachers.

SU Welfare Officer LUKE PILOT blogs on our new wellbeing campaign for students, which launches this week and provides an opportunity for those who feel like they’re struggling to chat about all aspects of university life.

Your chance to debate the motions submitted for consideration this term – everyone’s invited to come along to the meeting at 5:30pm in the SU Atrium to have their say. Online voting opens at 9am on Tuesday and closes at 12noon on Friday – make sure you don’t let decisions be made on your behalf!

Week 7 is Pride Week on campus, featuring a range of events designed to celebrate sexuality and gender diversity here at Warwick. Keep an eye on the Warwick Pride website for further updates!

The PG Community Team is offering the opportunity for a group of Postgraduate Taught students to plan and lead their own conference. They encourage the conference to be interdisciplinary, although this is not essential!

The process for registering to vote has recently changed, and it’s important that students still get the chance to participate in local and national elections – visit our website for more info, plus a chance to win tickets to SU events.

SU Sports Officer ALEX ROBERTS blogs on the Sports Therapy facilities available in Coventry, which can now by accessed by Warwick students.

Our Academic Representation team will be holding a coffee and cake session for all Course Reps this week from 2pm-3:30pm on Tuesday in SUHQ Meeting Room 7.

The festive menu for our restaurant will be running throughout Weeks 9, 10 & 11 and is now available to view online – advance booking is recommended, as we’re always busy in the last few weeks of term!

Campus Police Officer Fiona Jay is running various sessions on crime prevention over the coming weeks, with the chance to get a free D-lock for your bike.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is a student-led celebration of the innovators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare. This year's event takes place from 16th-19th November on campus.

Do you want to inspire the next generation of potential university applicants by visiting local schools and Further Education institutions to tell them more about your own experiences as a student? If so, apply for this year’s Warwick Inspire programme!

More dates now added - choose from traffic-free beginners courses on Wednesdays or on-road courses for improvers on Thursdays, both starting 5.30pm.

The University is currently running a survey on Taxi usage on campus – there’s a chance to win a £50 Book Shop voucher for those who contribute.

The next step in the student consultation on a new Humanities Building is now online – click through to have your say.
