The big news this week is of course the 2015 General Election on Thursday - hopefully you managed to register before the deadline! Needless to say, it really is crucial that you cast your vote, as this election is set to be one of the most hotly-contested in living memory and there's a great deal at stake for students and the UK as a whole. We'll be showing full live coverage throughout the night in the Atrium if you want to come along and experience the occasion in what is always the liveliest atmosphere on campus.

PG Society of the Week is Warwick Marrow. You can find out more about the amazing work they do for the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust by searching for 'Warwick Marrow' on Facebook or by emailing warwick@ukmarrow.org!

Today is a Bank Holiday, so SU Reception and staff departments will be closed for the day - however, most of our outlets will still be open as usual if you want to grab a drink or a bite to eat.

A review is being conducted this term to look into the current roles of Sabbatical Officers and how effective these are in representing our members. Please take a few minutes to click through and send us your thoughts!

An opportunity for postgraduate researchers to hone your presentation and public engagement skills, showcase your research, explore new connections with the wider University community and potentially win a prize.

All students are invited to take part in the 2015 Student Barometer - an independent survey of student satisfaction at the University with the chance to win a £1000 cash prize. Deadline: Friday 26th June.

The University's 2015 Travel Survey is a chance for students to help formulate Warwick's transport strategies for the future, with a prize draw to win an iPad Air for all completed entries. Deadline: 19th May.

On 6th May, Warwick is hosting the Warwick/UKCISA Integration Summit with the theme "What makes a global student". Students are invited to attend at a discounted rate of £15!

This year's Teaching & Learning Showcase takes place on Thursday (7th May) - places are still available for students who wish to attend.

SU Postgraduate Officer Andrew Thompson has blogged about the need for a year-round 24-hour Library on campus - read his latest post on the SU website to see how you can help us make the case to the University.

Tickets for this year's Graduation Ball are now on sale to Finalists and their guests via the SU's new ticketing website. Tickets cost £49 per-person, and tables seat a maximum of 10 people!

Our annual celebration of your achievements with societies are also now on sale - these are available to all year groups, priced at £20 for current students and £25 for alumni.

This week's special is Spanish Sizzler for £3.45: hot roast chicken and chunky chorizo in a spicy tomato sauce.
