There’s plenty going on at the SU this week as we gear up for the return of One World Week - our vintage tea-shop, Curiositea, will be celebrating its fifth birthday with a host of offers, prizes and cakes, while the Vintage Fair returns on Thursday and our Warwick Leaders conference takes place at the weekend. SU President Cat Turhan has new written a new blog post on the VC’s recent Knighthood and pay-rise, and what they mean for Warwick and Higher Education as a whole – you can read it now on SU website.

There’s another chance for students to get checked out for sexually-transmitted infections this Tuesday as the mobile GUM Clinic returns to SUHQ.

Warwick’s Centre for Human Rights in Practice is running an independent summit to explore the future of peaceful protest at our University. To access the survey you will need to log in with a valid university username and password, and you have the option to make your comments anonymously.

This Tuesday at 7pm in MS.01, PPE Society are excited to welcome what The Sun called “The Most Dangerous Woman in Britain”. Join them for this special address mixing Politics, Law and Philosophy, with free pizza and a special book signing after the event!

Speakers will be discussing how to use the skills learned through volunteering during application processes, plus the benefits of internships/work placements in the third sector this Thursday (22nd January). This will be followed immediately by the MRF 3 Peaks Information evening.

Warwick Sport’s Active Leagues are the perfect way to get some friends together, socialise and keep fit. If you don't have a team and are looking join one of their leagues, you can sign up as an individual!
