Greetings, Fresh! Welcome to the first of our weekly email updates on what’s going on at Warwick Students’ Union throughout the coming term.
Your SU is one of the biggest and best in the country, so you’ve definitely made the right choice by studying here! We are a not-for-profit, charitable membership organisation which reinvests all the money made in our bars/food outlets (The Bread Oven, Curiositea, The Dirty Duck, The Terrace Bar, Xananas) and nightclub (The Copper Rooms) into services for students – whether that’s academic representation, welfare & personal support, clubs & societies, student campaigning, student facilities or anything else we offer. Headed up a team of 7 elected Sabbatical Officers, we are run by students, for students – and are here to help you get the most out of your time here.
If you have any questions, just ask by emailing enquiries@warwicksu.com, logging onto our Facebook page facebook.com/warwicksu, hitting us up on Twitter @warwicksu or speaking to one of our Freshers Helpers in the purple T-shirts – likewise, if you’re feeling overwhelmed for any reason, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our free and confidential Student Advice Centre: warwicksu.com/advice/.
As you might expect, there’s loads going on during the first 7 days of term – below is just a fraction of what’s on offer, so make sure you keep checking the SU website warwicksu.com for all the latest updates. We hope you have a great first week, and look forward to seeing you out and about!
