Congratulations to everyone who completed their 5k as part of One Big Thing last Friday! Thanks also to everyone who voted in last week’s All Student Meeting – the results are now live on the SU website.

Vegetarian Week in Xananas

Tasty, nutritious, healthy and filling - get stuck in to our mouthwatering meat-free specials in Xananas throughout Week 5.

We’ve prepared some useful information for students on the Local & European Elections, which will be taking place this Thursday. If you registered, don’t forget to vote!

Societies Awards – nominations deadline extension

If you’re an exec member, we’ve extended the deadline to send us your nominations for this year’s Society Awards. The new deadline is Sunday 25th May at 23:59pm – we look forward to hearing from you!

Postgraduate Teacher Employment Charter

SU Postgraduate Officer Lucy Gill has written a new blog post for students interested in the issue of fairer remuneration for postgrads who teach. On May 29th at 11:30am, the UCU will also be holding a campaign strategy meeting for hourly-paid staff, who are able to join for about £2.80 per month (other union options are available).

Pick your favourite alternative anthems from this year’s Crash events – we’ll tally up the votes and play through the chart in its entirety on 7th June!

The Bread Oven – Saturday opening

Great news for those on campus at the weekend: now you can get your baguette fix on Saturdays! During Weeks 3-7, we’ll be open between Noon-3pm every Saturday to help keep you well-fed.

The Coventry Mysteries Festival is looking for volunteers to help with their event from 23rd-26th May. Shifts are varied and flexible depending on how and when you want to help out!

Tickets are now available for the summer trips being run by the International Office, open to all students, staff and their guests. Click through for more info and purchase links!

The University has announced a scholarship scheme totalling £600,000 for postgraduate taught masters students from lower-income backgrounds. The scheme is open to applicants who are applying for entry to postgraduate study in 2014/15 - application deadline: Monday 16th June.

Summer Party tickets on sale
