Congratulations to Warwick Panthers for a sterling last-minute victory in the Varsity Ice Hockey clash last Thursday evening – hopefully this will set the ball rolling for another overall win! Don’t forget that there’s the climactic Rugby Union match coming up this Sunday at the Butts Arena in Coventry – tickets are available now via the SU website.

The big news on campus this week is the 2014 Officer Elections. The winners will run the Students’ Union during the 2014-15 academic year, so it’s really important that you vote for the candidates who you think have the strongest or most-achievable ideas, or best represent your own personal views! Take a look at their manifestos online at warwicksu.com/elections, come along to Candidate Question Time on Monday/Tuesday or chat to them when they’re out and about during the week. Voting goes live on Wednesday morning at 9am - it’s all done online and only takes a few clicks. We’ll then announce the results on Friday night at our special Elections Party in The Copper Rooms from 10pm!

Make sure you’re also up to speed on the Pimp My Summer Ball competition, which will be launching next week and offers us the chance to have MTV DOUBLE the entertainments budget of Warwick’s Summer Party! For more details, see below.

Come along and ask this year’s candidates about any aspect of their manifestos before casting your vote. There are two sessions this year: one on Monday and another on Tuesday, both at 5pm in the Atrium.

Voting opens at 9am on Wednesday and closes 9pm Friday – don’t forget to have your say in helping to shape the future of your Students’ Union!

MTV will be DOUBLING the Summer Party entertainment budget of whichever Uni sends the most tweets in this exciting new competition – click through to find out how YOU can help bring a massive headliner to campus!

Grab your tickets for the grand finale of this year’s Varsity Tournament, where our Rugby Union team will take on their arch- rivals from Cov Uni in what is sure to be another hotly-contested clash!

In association with Go Green Week, Curiositea will be hosting a Clothes Swap event on Wednesday. Swap your unwanted clothes & accessories for a brand new wardrobe, or just buy items on the day!

Join Warwick Snow for an afternoon of skiing, snowboarding and hanging out with friends – all the while watching Warwick smash Coventry in the Varsity tournament!

Last Tuesday, Nothing Left booked the fourth of six slots in Week 10’s final – find out who’ll be joining them this Thursday from 8pm in CR2!

A software incubator is being launched at the University, aimed at anyone who has a software business idea that they want to develop. As well as entrepreneurs with ideas, they are also looking for people who can write code for fledgling companies!

This Tuesday (25th February) from 1-4pm, Careers & Skills are hosting the Working in Pakistan: Careers and Recruitment Fair in conjunction with the British Council, Pakistan. A number of blue chip employers will be visiting campus with graduate vacancies, looking to meet with Warwick students.
