The big news this week is the return of the All Student Meeting on Monday, together with our annual membership survey, Help Us Help You. We know that as Postgrads you don’t always get the chance to engage with us as much as you’d perhaps like or need, so that’s why it’s really important that you let us know how we’re doing here at the SU so that we can try and make your student experience the very best that it can be.

Make sure you visit warwicksu.com/helpushelpyou at some point during the week to fill out the survey online – all your feedback is important to us, and there’s a prize draw at the end for completed entries! In the meantime, here’s a flavour of what else is going on this week…

The SU’s Postgraduate Officer, Lucy Gill, has written an opinion piece on the issue of student-led lectures in response to the strikes – you can read it now on the SU website.

Full-time postgraduate students who have care of a child and who are registered at the University for the 2013-14 academic year are invited to apply for financial support - closing date for applications is Friday 28th February.

Don’t let decisions be made on your behalf – all students are welcome to attend this term’s ASM at 5:30pm in the Atrium today. Online debate is now live on this term’s motions, while voting opens at 12pm on Tuesday via the SU website.

Radio Warwick will be broadcasting from the Piazza day and night for 100 hours this week - the event starts on Monday at 12pm and finishes Friday at 4pm, and it’s all in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust! Their Just Giving page can be found here.

Lit. Week is an annual event at Warwick celebrating everything literature-related. Look out for a range of events from screenings and story slams to careers and coffee mornings during Week 5 – visit their Facebook page for the full schedule!

Sport Allies is a fantastic new charity founded by students at Warwick which aims to educate young people against homophobia in sport. They’ll be holding various talks, workshops and events throughout Week 5 – head to their website for more information.

Our pop-up stall will be visiting the WBS Teaching Building between 12-2pm on Tuesday – come and chat to us about getting involved in the SU or any problems you might be having.

Last week, Asian Death Crustacean booked the first slot in Week 10’s Grand Final – find out who’ll be joining them on Thursday from 8pm in CR2!

Nominations open for this year’s Officer Elections this Friday – check out the Democracy pages of the SU website for info on why you should consider running and how to do so!

Tickets for one of our biggest student-run events at the University sold out in record time yet again earlier in the term - if you were lucky enough to bag one, make sure you check their website for all the latest news and speaker confirmations!

This Saturday at 9am, Warwick Jailbreak and RAG participants will be blindfolded, driven somewhere unknown and given the weekend to get back to campus for free – all for charity!

Tickets are now on sale to the biggest sporting clashes of the annual Varsity season, along with T-shirts, foam claws (essential) and after-party tickets. Come and support our sporting lads and lasses as they prepare to do battle with Cov Uni once again!

This week’s special is Hot and Sticky Sweet Chilli Chicken with Sesame Seeds and Spring Onion Mayo for £3.45. For a vegetarian-friendly option, you can swap the chicken for Quorn Strips!

On Tuesday 25th February from 1-4pm, Careers & Skills are hosting the Working in Pakistan: Careers and Recruitment Fair in conjunction with the British Council, Pakistan. A number of blue chip employers will be visiting campus with graduate vacancies, looking to meet with Warwick students.

An opportunity to have your say and help Warwick Sport improve their offers for the future. All completed questionnaires get entered into our prize draw to win one of three £50 Warwick Sport Vouchers or one of ten Class or Gym Vouchers!

Warwick Active's Intramural Leagues are the perfect way to get some friends together, keep active, stay social and have fun. Designed for any level of ability and competiveness, make sure you get involved by either joining your Hall, Society or Department Teams or just grabbing a few of your mates for a bit of fun on the pitch, court or field!

The Book Sale function is now available on the SU website, allowing you to buy or sell new and used textbooks all year round - visit warwicksu.com/books to get started!
