Greetings all!

We trust that you’re enjoying your new-found freedom if you’ve already finished your exams. We’re gearing up for the grand finale to the year here at the SU, which will be unfolding over the next two weeks and includes all our big showcase events – for more information on what to expect from Week 9, read on!

This Sunday sees the big one finally rear its head: the SUMMER PARTY 2013. As announced on the website this morning, unfortunately Labrinth has had to cancel his appearance – however, we’ve managed to secure KATY B as a replacement!

Thousands of you will be turning out to the fields behind University House for a spectacular mini-festival exclusive to Warwick students and their guests – the line-up for the day includes two full stages of live music, a free funfair, inflatable playground, an after-party in The Copper Rooms until 4am and much, much more besides! It’s looking set to be a glorious end to Term 3 – tickets are still available both online and via SUHQ Reception, where you can also now pick up your physical tickets.

Elsewhere, this and next week's Pop! have both completely sold out, but there are still tickets available for Week 10’s Friday-night Foam Party!

Get yourself checked out for STIs (sexually-transmitted infections) at the final GUM Clinic this term, running tomorrow from 12-6pm in SUHQ. Please note that consultations can take up to half an hour, so you’re advised not to arrive later than 5:30pm if you want to be seen!

The Grad Ball and Sports Ball both sold out in record time this year, and are shaping up to be a truly spectacular send-off to the year. On consecutive nights, we’ll be heading out to the splendour of Birmingham’s Hilton Metropole for a night of dinner, dancing and celebration.

Buses will depart from Library Road (Grad Ball) and the Piazza (Sports Ball) from 5pm on both days – make sure you’ve picked up your physical ticket from SUHQ Reception, as you’ll need it to board the coach. We look forward to seeing you there!

IATL have launched a Student Engagement Survey for undergraduate and taught postgraduate students. They would like to find out people’s experiences as students at the University of Warwick, and there will be a £100 Amazon voucher awarded each week that it’s open!

The survey should only take around 10 minutes to complete and further information can be found on the IATL website.

WSAF is fantastic four-day celebration of the University of Warwick’s artistic talent which starts this weekend (Saturday 22nd June). Come along to campus to be amazed, enthralled and entertained by an assortment of contemporary and traditional events - from Street-Dance to Symphonies and Salsa to Sonnets, there's something for everyone to enjoy!

All events are free and open to everyone - you can find out more on the WSAF website.

Microsoft has to move Warwick over to its new Office 365 service, and this will require them to disable certain email features for at least a week while they carry out the work. For a period of over 12 days from 9am on Monday 17 June, you may have to change the way that you access your email account depending on how you usually do it.

Warwick Summer Scheme - the University’s holiday scheme for children aged 5-11 - is looking to recruit a team of Summer Scheme Leaders to work with the children attending the scheme this summer.

Warwick Summer Scheme will run on campus from 22 July-30 August 2013 on weekdays, and aims to offer an inspiring range of educational, cultural and sporting activities to challenge, entertain and enthuse its attendees.

Don't miss out on weekly specials in the Bread Oven all this term - this week, it's Thai Prawn Noodle Salad (prawns in a red Thai sauce on a bed of rice noodles and mixed salad).

The SU's summer barbeque is due to return again this week (weather permitting!) – head down to the Piazza at lunchtime whenever the sun shines to get your jaws round an appetising selection of meat and vegetarian grill!

Following on from their dedicated courses during the first half of term, the NHS will be running a series of drop-in sessions throughout Weeks 5-6 specialising in Anxiety, Low Mood and Exam Stress-Management. These are free sessions which everyone's welcome to come along to – they take place tuesdays from 1:30pm and you can sign up for a session online.

A chance to win free tickets to the Arts Centre!

Warwick Arts Centre is working with a group of postgraduate students on a research project to address how current Warwick students use the Arts Centre and its facilities. The project aims to investigate how students used the Arts Centre this year, and for feedback suggestions on how the services and facilities could be improved from a student perspective. The Arts Centre is at the heart of campus and this is a real opportunity to have your say on how the offering could be improved in the near-future and beyond.

The survey takes just 2 minutes to complete and there is a chance to win free tickets to future Arts Centre events at the end!
