 So the nominations are in! The full candidate list can be viewed here. The candidates as we speak will be manically painting cardboard in order to plaster it all over campus for Week 8. Be sure you get involved next week by visiting the elections website, reading their manifestos, questioning candidates and most importantly, vote! Voting takes place Wednesday to Friday with results announced Friday night in the SU. It’s your Union – be a part of it!

 On Wednesday this week the University and the Students Union are hosting Mental Health Awareness Day in the Atrium
In association with Warwick Psych Soc, UMHAN, IAPT, Coventry Mind, Drinkaware, Mental Wealth UK and MindApples, Warwick Student Support will be hosting a number of stalls and activities aimed at reducing stigma and promoting mental health and well-being:
- Wellbeing Checks (all day)
- Salsa & Hip Hop (between 1:00pm - 2:00pm)
- Coventry Mind's mobile wellbeing resource bus, Journey, will be parked on the Piazza and welcomes staff and students alike to find out more about the range of support that is available locally

 This week sees the launch of the Time's Up Survey on Contact Time Satisfaction. This is your chance to let your academic representatives and the Union know who you've found the amount and quality of contact you have with your academics. The survey will open on Wednesday for UGs and PGTs, so make sure you log on as the survey should only take a few minutes. Equally spread the word around by sharing the survey on twitter and facebook.

 On Wednesday 20th, Warwick SU will be holding its termly Education Convention for all academic representatives. It’s a fantastic opportunity for representatives to network and support each other on campaigns as well as discuss policy changes in the University. Any student (not just SSLC Reps) can register online at warwicksu.com/sslc, so join us at 3pm in the Humanities Building.

 4 March 2013, 1-2.30pm, PG Hub - Run by the Graduate School on a two monthly basis, the PGR Lunches are designed to bring together students from across the University, providing a space to meet informally and discuss ideas and experiences. Each lunch will feature short talks from a couple of current students on their research and experiences at Warwick, as well information on University services specifically tailored to PGR students.
Lunch is provided free of charge to attendees - the last event reached capacity and so early booking is essential.
The next lunch is being held on 4 March from 1-2.30pm. Attendance is free and a light lunch is provided. Please register your place here.
