In case you didn't already know, every other Saturday we hold a postgrad night called the Saturday Session at the Terrace Bar (above the Atrium in the SU) from 9pm till late. There will be a different ‘stripped-back’ or acoustic performance at each event and the playlist will consist of relaxed, eclectic sounds from across the spectrum of Soul, Jazz, Funk, Reggae, Acoustica, chilled Electronica and anything else which lends itself to a soundtrack for conversation. The next one is on 26th January so come along!

This week is Disability Awareness Week, which aims to bring together the campus as a community to discuss issues affecting disabled students across Warwick University. Even if you know nothing about disability, please come along to our events, as everybody is welcome. For more details, check out the Facebook event page.

Don't forget that the first All Student Meeting will be held on Monday of Week 4 at 5.30pm in the SU Atrium. The All Student Meeting is a chance for any student to have their voice heard and to vote on policies they want to see implemented at the SU in future. Voting will also take place online after the meeting! Don't let decisions be made on your behalf - vote in the All Student Meeting.

As the Christmas break fades into the distant past, societies are back with more fantastic events to get us through cold and icy January! Number One on the SocsFed Top 5 this week is Opera Warwick's production of Cinderella, which starts in the Arts Centre tonight and finishes on Wednesday 23rd January. Tickets start at £7 – don’t miss out! Freshblood's Freshfest Fundraiser comes a close second, and is taking place in Robbin's Well this Thursday at 8pm. In third place is the Warwick Speakers competition for budding public speakers, which is happening on Tuesday at 7pm in R0.21 . The Economics Summit's ticket release makes fourth position – you can buy tickets from Friday at 7pm and, in fifth, Warwick TV are hosting 'Warwick in a Day' where any student can film their day, upload it to YouTube and email the URL to warwickinaday@gmail.com!
