Hi folks,

A massive thanks to all of you who came and played our Stock Exchange drinks game last Friday, or got your scare-wear on at the Halloween Ball the following night – you can check out a selection of the photos from both online now over at our Facebook page! To celebrate the spooky season in style, make sure you check out all the Halloween offers running throughout this week in our food outlets – in the meantime, here’s a taste of what else will be going on throughout Week 5:

A Future Worth Fighting For - #WeAreWarwick: Over the next few months, we want to kick-start activism and debate across campus on issues relating to education and society. As well as organising for the NUS National Demo in November, we'll be launching and supporting talks, debates, socials and action days for students across campus to get involved in. If you're part of a society that could contribute, please get in touch by emailing education@warwicksu.com!

On November 21st, Warwick will be joining thousands of other students from across the UK at the NUS National Demonstration in London. Not only can you buy tickets this week, we're also looking to you to mobilise and spread the word. We'll be having a host of talks, debates and socials to explain and discuss how the values of 'educate, employ and empower' impact on Warwick students. So, keep in touch and get involved!

Tuesday sees the launch of a new social hub for all those passionate about education issues at Warwick. Whether you occupy or sit on SSLCs, we’re inviting you to join us in building, promotion and supporting education-based campaigns at Warwick. It will also see the launch of the ticket sales for the NUS National Demonstration. All students are welcome to come along to The Terrace Bar on Tuesday from 6pm.

Congratulations to the new committee of the ISA, which is here to represent international students’ views at the University of Warwick. If you want to speak up for international students, learn more at facebook.com/groups/warwickisa.

The Coffee Morning for Students who are Parents will be on Thursday 1st November at our tea shop, Curiositea, from 10:30-11:30am in the Students’ Union, and there will be tea, coffee and cake with our compliments. Please do come along as it gives a fantastic opportunity for you all to meet each other and to get to know us here at the Students’ Union, as well as giving you the chance to talk to the Advice Team here about any potential issues you are facing, whether it be with your course, housing, childcare or anything else. If you have any questions, please do get in touch via welfare@warwicksu.com

For those of you who still haven't collected your book sale proceeds and unsold books, we will be holding a third and final collection day. It will take place in The Mighty Duck in the SU from 11am-4pm on Thursday 15th November (Week 7).

Zombie Run – 31st October 3pm
Can you survive the zombie apocalypse? You are given your first location and a map, and must find your way to the next location without being caught by zombies that prowl the streets. At each base you will be provided with a new map to get to the next base until you make it to the Survivors Camp. Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed, least-infected and fastest team! Check out the Warwick Sport website for more details and to buy tickets.

The 2012 Right To Play Fitness Challenge – 2nd November
On Friday 2nd November, in association with the Rowing, Athletics and Swimming Club, Warwick Sport members will be competing to travel the furthest distance in a set time across these three sports to raise money for the charity 'Right To Play'. The running aspect is a 3km route around campus where you will find members of the Athletics, Swimming & Rowing club with RAG buckets, so if you see them please donate to this incredible cause which gives children in developing countries the chance to play sport.

Warwick Amnesty is running a campaign focusing on forced evictions around the world. Head to the Piazza on Wednesday from 1pm to check it out!

Fingers on buzzers... here's your starter for ten! Do you want to represent Warwick on University Challenge, and prove how clever you are to millions of people? COME ON...! We're holding the auditions at 5pm in Copper Rooms 2 this week on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd November. Turn up and have a go – fame, fortune or abuse from Jeremy Paxman could just be around the corner!
