Here at Warwick SU we have been listening to your feedback and have made some substantial changes over the summer to make your SU experience even better. The first things you will notice include a new-look Terrace Bar and Mighty Duck, as well as more furniture in the Atrium and a cosier Curiositea. We are also really excited about the total overhaul of Xananas, with a brand new kitchen, a fresh look and an all-new menu. There will be big changes to the Ents program this year too, changing the events you love for the better and creating original nights out to increase the variety on offer for everyone. The SU has also undergone a complete review of our democratic process and membership services, resulting in more staff here to help you and your activities. Come and see for yourself in the completely redesigned Student Resources Room in SUHQ, where all our student-facing membership staff are now located in order to best serve your needs. The Warwick SU staff team has been working hard to listen to your feedback and make changes for you. We hope you like it!

It’s that time of year again - our 230 different societies are all gearing up for the Societies Fair, which will be taking place in Week 1! You know the drill - come down to The Copper Rooms from 10am–4pm on Wednesday to check out our media, gaming, performance and music societies, Thursday for all charity, campaigning and academic societies as well as our own Democracy team, and Friday for our cultural and religious or belief societies!

Didn't get round to joining that Sports Club you were eyeing up last year? Just want to try something completely new? Missed today's Sports Fair? It's not too late to join a club! Look online for more information on our 73 Sports Clubs and variety of leagues, classes and courses. All taster sessions and trials are completely free during Week 1! Also, if you are also interested in running for one of the amazing positions on the Sports Committee, you can apply now.

Want to get involved in improving your course, or think that a module could be done a little better? If so, look out for elections for SSLC reps at the start of the term. Make sure you make your voice heard!!

Don’t forget, the Students’ Union has a free and confidential Advice Centre available for all students. We are also holding our first Campaigns Convention this term, so come along on Saturday Week 2 in Copper Rooms 2 between 1-4pm if you want to get involved in campaigning here this year!
