Hello!

Term 3 has begun with a bang, with tickets for the summer events (Graduation Ball, Sports Ball and Summer Party) now on sale, via the SU website or in person at SUHQ reception. While you've been busy slaving over essays, dissertations or, heaven forbid, actually started revising, we have been putting the finishing touches to the end of year celebratory events, to bring you some days and nights that you won't forget in a hurry!

This term also sees the start of some new entertainment in the Duck on a weekly basis, from Karaoke to pub quizzes (including the Duck's 3rd birthday party this Friday!), and the Bread Oven will be doing pre-order 'revision deliveries' to Library Road from week 4.

As ever, we’ve got the usual events lined up so you can forget about your term 3 woes (Skool Dayz tickets on sale here for week 2 Saturday) and in the coming weeks Izzy will be launching the SU’s 'Feel Good' campaign, with tips on how to stay afloat during the most stressful part of the year!

As ever, please get in touch if you've got anything we might want to hear,

George, Chris S, Chris L, Izzy, Leo, Matt and Sean

Nominations close Wednesday

The election will be taking place throughout week 2, with voting from Monday-Friday on the SU website.

NUS National Conference

Every year, officers from the SU travel to NUS National Conference to represent Warwick students. If you have anything that you want us to raise to the NUS leadership or the rest of the student movement, then either get in touch with one of us by e-mail, or drop us a line on facebook. If you're especially keen and want to follow conference yourself, it will be live streamed from Tuesday to Thursday.

The Microsoft Windows 7 Student Tour is currently on campus between 23rd – 27th April 2012, and will be in the Windows 7 Marquee on Tocil Field.

The aim of the tour is to help students get 'workplace ready' by giving you the opportunity to test out some key features available from Microsoft and Windows 7. You will gain hands-on experience with the software through specially-designed demos. By completing a demo, you will get the chance to win some fantastic prizes, including an Xbox, Xbox Gold 12-month membership, Office package, Kinect, USB sticks and more. There will also be the opportunity to attend short and informative seminars on useful CV tips, interview techniques and getting work place ready from inspiring industry heads.

It's extremely worthwhile and we look forward to welcoming you – see you there!
