A Union General Meeting has been called for Tuesday 29th November, 7pm, MS.02 (Maths & Stats Building).

General Meetings are your chance to have your voice heard with any student able to attend and vote. Check out what’s on the agenda below and click on the questions to see a copy of the relevant motion.

The Motions - Should your Union:
Boycott Bacardi? Establish a Postgraduate Association? Stop BAE sponsoring all Union activities?
Arguments for the Bacardi Boycott Against Arguments against the Bacardi Boycott
Allow racist and fascist speakers in the Union? Fight for free education? Support public sector strikes on 30th November?
Lift the cap on candidate spending in elections? Fight for more contact hours and a library extension? Seek to form a national Union of Students?
General Meeting Checklist

- Get there early, the sooner we achieve quorum (minimum number of people we need in attendance) the sooner we can get started!

- Bring your University Card – we will need it to register you.
