Festive greetings!

We hope you had an absolutely smashing end of term (and if you came to the foam party, that you''ve managed to get the smell of banana foam out of your clothes). The Christmas Ball was absolutely epic – we hope the folks who went enjoyed it! There are some excellent photos on the SU facebook page for your tagging (or de-tagging) pleasure.

Plus the fabulous staff at the Bread Oven served about 800 special Christmas baguettes to keep you fed and warm in the cold (not sure they'll ever want to look at a turkey again however…)

So, just a few holiday reminders and tips from your sabbs:

Don't panic about housing if you're not sorted for next year – the spring term has 2 housing days and a series of workshops to sort you out – even if you don't have a group to live with! So relax!

If you live off-campus, please have a glance over the latest Beyond the Bubble newsletter to check that you're all sorted and safe for the holidays.

If you're still on campus, the Students' Union will be open until the end of the 22nd and will reopen on the 3rd. The opening hours for our food and drink outlets are available here.

The university are also doing some great things over the vacation period – examples include a Christmas Supper on the 20th, English for Christmas at the Chaplaincy on the 21st  (a great chance to practice English if it's not your first language), and a workshop run by the counselling service on how to cope with Christmas, also on the 21st.

Finally, don't forget that you can check out what your sabbs are up to on our blogs, email us or drop into the union if you're around – we'd love to see you!

Have a very happy holiday, no matter what you're doing, and we'll see you all for a jam-packed term 2 in the New Year!

Love,
Izzy, Chris L, Chris S, Matt, Leo, George and Sean
