To encourage participation in this years elections, we are offering a range of exciting incentives for casting your vote!

There are some terms ans conditions that apply and below you'll find all the details you need to know about eligibility, prize distribution and how to claim your reward.  

One FREE small hot drink from Curiositea 

Offer available during w/c 3rd Mar - 7th March 2025 (10am-5pm only). Once you have voted, you must show proof of voting at the till located outside Curiositea. Swipe your Student ID card to receive a token in exchange for one FREE small, hot drink in Curiositea (excluding Weekly Specials). Tokens can be collected from 9am-3pm and will be accepted for use in Curio from 10am-5pm during that week only. One drink per student only. Once a Student ID card has been scanned, it will show as ineligible if you try again.

Lunch at The Dirty Duck

Anybody who votes will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win lunch up to the value of £40. Winners will be selected at random after the votes closes at 5pm on Friday 7th March 2025. There is no cash alternative and the voucher must be used in one single transcation for part or full paymnet towards food and drinks at The Dirty Duck. No 'change' will be given. Winners will be announced w/c 10th March 2025 and vouchers must be used before Friday 2nd May 2025 - no vouchers will be accepted after this date. You must make your server aware of your intention to pay via an SU Elections voucher prior to ordering. 4 vouchers will be available in total. At least 50% of the vouchers must be used toward food.

FREE drink for first 100 students at TBar 

First 100 students who show proof of voting to the staff  located outside TBar between 7pm and 8pm on Friday 7th March 2025 will receive a token in exchange for one drink at TBar. Only one drink per student. Once Student ID has been taken, you will not be eligible for another token. The token can be exchanged for one pint of draft (alcoholic or non alcoholic), one bottle or one single measure of spirit plus a mixer . No cash alternative is available. Once all 100 token have gone there will be no additional tokens so it will be on a first come first serve basis. 

Cash for Clubs and Societies 

For the top clubs and societies who have highest percentage of their members voting at the end of the week when voting closes at 5pm on Friday 7th March 2025, they will receive cash directly into their SU bank account via an internal transfer w/c 10th March.

For societies we have the individual break down is as follows

• 1-50 members will receive £50 
• 51-150 members will receive £100
• 151 - 250 members will receive £125
• 250 and over members will receive £150

Sports clubs

• 1 - 50 members will receive £100
• 51 - 100 members will receive £150 
• 101 - 200 members will receive £200
• 201 plus members will receive £250
