Come see Juno presented on 35mm film on the big screen in L3!
When compared to other comedy films of its era, Juno not only stands apart in its humour but also its willingness to prioritise telling a moving story without fearing for its impact on the film’s tone. Elliot Page’s acclaimed performance has rightfully been regarded as ahead of its time with its earnest and empathetic portrayal of teen pregnancy that Hollywood would usually rather neglect or entirely make fun of. The film also stars a fresh off of Superbad Michael Cera, who yet again cements himself as in a league of his own when it comes to his on screen charisma (or lack thereof). From its laughs to its heartfelt depictions of love and indomitable perseverance, Juno is a modern classic and a must watch for any cinema lover. [Dan Watson]
