Sexual Health and Guidance (SHaG) Festival
Taking place on Wednesday the 1st of February; created from the mind of your Vice-President Societies, Anna Taylor; Sexual Health and Guidance Festival (nicknamed SHAGfest) is coming directly to your SU! Based in Warwick SU's Atrium, SHAGfest is going to be a day-long fair in the SU designed to be a fun, light-hearted event with slightly silly activities, interspersed with information and resources surrounding physical and mental sexual health, as well as the culture around consent and relationships.
From free condoms and sweeties through to chlamydia testing, we hope to bring you a range of chances to learn more about Sexual Health, as well as offer you chances to win some prizes through competitions, attending talks and even a prize draw!
We're incredibly excited for it, and hope to see you there!
We're delighted to be joined by a number of student societies, academics, and charities, including the Survivors Trust, Coppafeel UK, HollieGuard, Ovacome, NHS Sexual Health Clinic (Coventry and Warwickshire branch), Warwick SU's Advice Centre, University of Warwicks' Report & Support team, Sexpression, Warwick Student Cinema, Fetish Society, Warwick Pride, Plaan and more!
CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! is a breast cancer awareness and education charity specifically aimed at younger people. We encourage people to regularly check their boobs/pecs/chests, be aware of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and feel confident to speak up and see a healthcare professional if they notice a change that isn't normal for them.
Our Boobette volunteers use their personal connection to breast cancer to inspire others to get to know their normal now and make it a lifelong habit. Come along, speak to a Boobette and grab some of our handy resources!

Free Film Screening (In partnership with Warwick Student Cinema)
In collaboration with SHAGfest, Warwick Student Cinema are running a free screening of Sleeping with Other people, in L3 - based in the physics and chemistry building! Join us from 19:30 for the film screening!
Directed by Leslye Headland, and starring Jason Sudeikis, Alison Brie, Natasha Lyonne and Adam Scott, this 2015 film is a rated 15.
"With two endearingly flawed and aomewhat cynical romantic leads, Sleeping with other people offers a modern homage to When Harry Met Sally-esque rom-coms that make sex and intimacy a topic for discussion.
The story goes: two New Yorkers chance upon each other at a sex-addicts meeting tweleve years after a one-night tumble in college where they lost their virginity to one another.
In contemplating their own meaningful relationships, the pair strike up a flirty but - as emphatically agreed upon - strictly platonic friendship, ultimately heading we-all-know-where. Ready with quick quips, innuendos, and the sense of two people just trying to figure out life, Jason Sudeikis and Alison Brie take on their own brand of somewhat silly, hormonally-charged romance to offer a funny, lighthearted take on navigating relationships, sex and self."
