We shoot regularly at Solihull Rifle and Pistol Club where we have a range of .22 calibre rifles for use on a 25-yard indoor range. We also have air rifles which we use on a small covered outdoor range. All levels of experience are welcome to join!
Our clubs sessions are every Wednesday morning & afternoon and every Saturday morning & afternoon. Morning sessions are from 10:30 to 13:30 and afternoon sessions are from 13:30 to 16:00 during term time unless otherwise stated on our socials, and each session costs around £12 which includes range fee, ammo and transport (we offer cheaper tickets if you can help with transport).
The pick-up and drop-off point for shooting sessions is on campus at the Piazza near Pret a Manger.
We compete for the University in the BUCS Smallbore postal league and the BUCS Fullbore events during the annual Target Rifle Imperial Meeting! There are opportunities for members of all levels to compete and the university pays for all competition costs!
We also have weekend events at the National Shooting Centre in Bisley where we shoot 7.62 calibre rifles at ranges of 300 - 1000 yards.
