Warwick has over 7000 Postgrads who are an integral part of University and Campus life. At the Union we are committed to create more of a Postgraduate Community through work with the Postgraduate Society and Postgraduate Committee.
The Postgraduate Society is a good way to meet new people at Warwick, and is one of the main sources of social life for postgraduates.
The Society organizes weekly socials (Tuesday 7pm at the moment in the Dirty Duck but hopefully soon going to a variety of local pubs), regular parties, and trips across the UK.
If you are a new student you should join the society just before coming to Warwick, to ensure that you know what is going in the first few weeks. If you are an existing student, you can join at any time, and there are new members at events all year round.
The society works really hard to make new members feel welcome from the first events they attend and to encourage new members to get to know other people in the society.
Joining the Postgraduate Society costs just £3.00 for 1 year, £4.00 for 2 years, or £5.00 for 3 years. As soon as you have joined you will receive weekly e-mails about all events, and substantial discounts for every event.
