Drag Society

At Drag Society, we aim to make drag fun and accessible for everybody – whether you’re an experienced performer, a newcomer looking for tips, or a casual fan of Dragula or RuPaul’s Drag Race. With a variety of events ranging from makeup workshops to charity shop crawls, our goal is to provide an informal creative space where you can connect with others, develop skills, and showcase your drag in a supportive, closely-knit community!

Drag is a style of visual and performance art that plays with and subverts social expectations of gender expression – there is no one single approach, so all styles are welcome and encouraged. You also don’t need any prior experience in drag for any of our workshops as they are open to all ability levels.

In addition to workshops and showcases, we also regularly run laid-back social events both on and off campus. No membership is required for these socials, so feel free to come along and meet new people! More information about specific upcoming events and socials can be found on our Instagram page @warwickdragsoc.
