Student Christian Movement (SCM) is the oldest student Christian organisation in Great Britain, founded in 1889. We are an inclusive space where you can explore faith openly, ask difficult questions and find a community without having to leave your convictions at the door.

SCM carries on a long tradition of living devotion beginning from the social gospel movement to involvement with liberation theology and the Anti-Apartheid Movement: we proudly support the LGBTQ+ community and the ordination of women. We tackle tough issues with open-mindedness and respect. We are ecumenical, meaning that we welcome all denominations, taking God’s Word seriously while recognising differences in Christian traditions and personal convictions.

At Warwick, we work closely with the Warwick University Chaplaincy which provides a perfect combination of spiritual nourishment and free food. All are welcome from cradle Christians to mischievous thinkers and we’d love to see you here!
