Who are we?
Climate Reality Warwick is a group of climate activists supporting local action to combat the climate crisis so we can make the transition to a clean energy economy and protect the welfare of the planet and its citizens. We aim to create an eco-friendly campus and raise awareness on sustainability issues through conferences, campaigns, projects and manifestations. We campaign to ensure a change in policy, leading the challenge against establishment rules when it comes to the environmental crisis.
Why join?
By joining our society, you’ll have the opportunities to connect with a local community of engaged activists; discuss the science of climate change, how it’s transforming daily life for communities around the world; help build momentum in the global climate movement; work on campaigns to achieve meaningful climate action in your community.
The Climate Reality Project [Link]
The Climate Reality Project is a diverse group of passionate individuals who have come together to solve the greatest challenge of our time. We are cultural leaders, organizers, scientists, and storytellers, and we are committed to building a better future together. Nobel Laureate and former US Vice President Al Gore founded The Climate Reality Project in 2006 to move the conversation about climate change forward and turn awareness into action. Our mission is to catalyse a global solution to the climate crisis by making urgent action a necessity across every level of society, starting at University.
