Your Students’ Union is student-led meaning that we put you in charge of deciding, and becoming, your future student leaders. This could be leading your group, class or even the whole Union so Make Your Mark and lead the direction of the future of our Students' Union. This is an All-Student Vote where you have one vote to decide on motion.

Warwick SU to lobby the university for an ethical stance on AI #2

This motion proposes that Warwick SU should lobby the University to adopt an ethical position on the use of AI and large language models by limiting their promotion and use across teaching, assessment, governance, and marketing. Warwick SU should lobby for opt-in policies and declarations of AI use, strengthening academic integrity frameworks, accounting for environmental impacts in sustainability policy, and ensuring staff and student representation in all AI-related decision-making.

Warwick SU to disaffiliate from NUS due to threats to student leaders, inaction on Palestine, and a lack of democracy

This motion proposes that the SU disaffiliate from the National Union of Students (NUS UK), citing reasons like their silence on global events, limited voting power due to governance changes in NUS, and threats to student leaders.
