Here at Warwick SU, we want to support you in settling into university and throughout your university journey.
Our SU Advice Centre is here to offer free, confidential and impartial advice all year round, whilst our Community Hubs provide a space for communities to connect and share resources.
Check out our Advice Centre, Associations and Community Meet & Greets happening during Welcome Week, as well as all of the resources available to support you throughout your transition into university life and beyond.
SU Advice Centre
Independent from the University, the Warwick SU Advice Centre offers a free, confidential, impartial and non-judgmental service. We provide advice, information, guidance and representation to help you resolve your problems whilst studying at Warwick. Find out more here.
Community Hubs
Our online Community Hubs are here to help communities connect and stay up to date with relevant news, events, resources and campaigns. There are Hubs for LGBTQUA+ students, disabled students, ethnic minorities students, trans students and parents and carers.
Community Meet & Greets
Our Campaigns team have organised online Meet & Greet events during Welcome Week for communities and our brand new Associations. There are events for Postgraduates, students of faith, parents and carers, LGBTQUA+ students, disabled students and more. See all events here and select ‘day-time’.
Meet the Advice Centre Team
Come along for an informal chat at SUHQ to meet our team of friendly, professional and experienced SU Advice Centre advisors, between 9:30am-12:30pm on Friday 1st October. We offer practical advice and support, signposting on a range of enquiries which include: academic, housing, money, health and wellbeing.
Buddy Scheme
The Warwick SU Buddy Scheme is a peer-to-peer support system that helps new students adjust to life at Warwick, by matching new Warwick students with current students. Matching will begin on 30th September. If you would like to join the Buddy Scheme, click here to apply!
Report and Support
Everyone at Warwick, whether studying, working, or visiting, has the right to feel safe. Harassment of any kind is completely unacceptable, and our community is an environment where prejudice and socially unacceptable behaviour are never tolerated. Find out about the support available here.
