Even if you haven’t decided who you want to vote for in the upcoming General Election yet, getting on the electoral register will mean you’re still able to have your say on June 8th. Today is your last chance to register - don’t forget that you can register BOTH your university and home addresses to ensure that your vote has the most impact in whichever constituency you choose to cast your ballot. If you’re an overseas student from a qualifying Commonwealth country, you’re also eligible!
Make sure you also log in to the SU website from 9am on Tuesday, when you’ll be able to vote on the motions put forward by students at this term’s All Student Meeting. The meeting itself will be in the SU Atrium from 5pm today for anyone who wants to come along and debate the issues, while the full policy details can also be read online now.
