VARSITY is Warwick’s annual sporting showdown with our counterparts from Coventry University – and it’s coming very soon to campus and beyond!

Each year in Term 2, our sports teams square off against students from Cov Uni in a series of epic clashes. For over quarter of a century now, #teamwarwick has reigned supreme by retaining the Varsity title year-on-year – however, with every fixture contributing to the overall score, competition is always tight and we need YOU to come along and show your support!

On 23rd February, Warwick will face-off against Coventry in the Ice Hockey opener at Planet Ice in the city’s famous Skydome. Tickets cost just £8, with return coach transport to and from the venue for an additional £3 – this is a great opportunity to catch some top-class sporting action in fantastic facilities on the cheap, while also showing some civic pride!

Tickets are also available for the closing Rugby Union match at the Ricoh Arena on 26th February, which follows on from the Wasps vs. Gloucester Premiership game. Tickets cost just £10 and grant you entry to BOTH matches, with return transport available for an extra £4. Please note that the deadline for booking transport to either fixture will be midnight on 14th Februrary!
