Welcome back, and Happy New Year!
Term 2 brings with it a whole host of opportunities to get involved here at the SU – whether that’s in terms of representing your fellow students, taking part in student-run activities, getting help and support or just relaxing in one of our outlets. As always, head to our website to find out all the latest info – we also now have an SU App available to keep you in the loop!
This week sees the launch of our boycott of the National Student Survey. The government’s proposed Higher Education reforms intend to create a free market system with the potential for unlimited tuition fee rises – a framework that will be propped up by flawed data obtained via the NSS. We’re joining forces with Students’ Unions around the country to urge Final-Year students to play their part in ensuring that their degrees don’t get devalued and fees don’t end up skyrocketing once again. See below for more details!
