Merry Christmas from the Staff and Officer Teams of Warwick SU! This is just a quick update for those of you who may still be around for the vacation period – see below for more info about upcoming events, services and SU opening times.

Whatever you’re up to over the holidays, we hope you have a relaxing break – if not before, we’ll see you in 2016!

The SU’s outlets and departments are still open during the first week of vacation – click through for full details. SUHQ closes down on 22nd December, reopening 4th January.

Based on or around campus during the 2015 Christmas Vacation period? Use this group to meet fellow students, arrange socials or find out more about events taking place on campus after term ends!

If you live off-campus, please ensure that you leave your local area in a condition that permanent residents will be happy with before heading home! Check the SU President’s latest blog post for his Top 3 tips for staying in your neighbours’ good books.

A maintenance shutdown will affect the whole of Rootes Social Building, Rootes Residences Block A-C, Staff Flat 5 Building and the Rootes Laundrette from 12th-22nd December. The University kindly requests that any students who remain on campus during this period use alternative laundry facilities for the duration of these works!

The Office for Global Engagement is holding a special Christmas Dinner for students on 14th December – click through for more details!

Tickets are now available for our free festive celebration for all postgraduate students. Expect music, games, food, drink and festive fun as the Atrium is transformed into a winter wonderland!

All students are invited to join Warwick Manufacturing Group for their multicultural festive shindig in The Copper Rooms this Tuesday.

Festive Tea Parties are still available to book at Curiositea until the end of the first week of vacation. Have yourself a merry little Christmas!

Our restaurant is also running a full seasonal menu, again available until the end of this week. Advance booking is recommended!

Applications are now open for the Student Calling Team’s 2016 campaign - deadline: 3rd January 2016.

The annual Staff Awards recognise SU and University staff’s outstanding contributions to student life, and highlight those individuals and teams who go above and beyond in their daily working lives. There are 10 categories, all of which are now open for nominations!
