Week 10 is upon us, and that can only mean one thing: “IT’S CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIISTMAS!” (well, nearly). In the countdown to the end of term, don’t forget that you can get yourself into the festive spirit at our food outlets, where there are seasonal treats aplenty on offer this week. We also look forward to seeing you at the Christmas Ball on Thursday in the SU, where we’ll be hosting an Ice Rink in the Atrium, festive favourites from a live party band, walkabout characters and more!
For those of you based on campus or staying around for the holidays, make sure you join our Facebook group for students who’ll be in the same boat so that you keep up to date with everything that’s going on (see below). If you’re living off-campus, please stay considerate to your neighbours in the last week of term by reading SU President ISAAC LEIGH’s blog post on the importance of maintaining good community relations and leaving your properties in an acceptable state. Either way, RAWKUS will be collecting unwanted food items this week to distribute to worthy causes – don’t let your unused items go to waste!
Whatever you’re up to over the coming weeks, we hope you have a relaxing break – and here’s also hoping that the new Star Wars movie doesn’t go the way of The Phantom Menace (we’re sure that won’t happen). See you in 2016!

RAWKUS is a student-run group which, at the end of last term, helped collect an incredible 12 tonnes of unwanted food for local charities - all of which would have otherwise gone to waste! Whether you’re based on or off-campus, make sure you donate your unwanted items this week.
|
If you live off-campus, please ensure that you leave your local area in a condition that permanent residents will be happy with before going home! Check the SU President’s latest blog post for his Top 3 tips for staying in your neighbours’ good books.
