Happy New Year, and welcome back! We trust
you all had a relaxing Christmas break and are ready to get stuck into Term 2.
Things show no sign of slowing down here at the Union – for starters, ONE WORLD WEEK will return in Week 3, bringing you the
perfect opportunity to explore the various cultures which make up Warwick’s diverse student body. Bandsoc’s annual BATTLE OF THE
BANDS tournament will also be rearing its head from Week 4 onwards as we start the search for this year’s Summer Party opener, while our
sports teams will be gearing up for another shot at the VARSITY title in the latter half of term!
All this plus the massive REAL ALE FESTIVAL in Week 6, the Officer Elections and our various campaign weeks – this term including
Disability Awareness Week, Animal Ethics Week, Sexual Health Awareness Week and Women’s Week. It’s going to be
another great term – we look forward to seeing you out and about!
