It's that time of year again when the Officer Elections take over campus, lectures, kitchens and your Union. Throughout the week candidates will be competing for your vote as you decide who should lead your Union in 2013/14 – make sure you have your say online Wednesday - Friday at warwicksu.com/elections.
Who Should I Vote For?
Good question, but it's not for us to say. We've got the following lined up to help you decide…
- Manifestos - take a read of what the candidates are pledging to do, ask them questions via Facebook and watch their videos
- Candidate Question Time - pop along to the Atrium at 5pm this evening and help grill the candidates
When the campaigning and polling are done join us at the results party to celebrate with your next Officer team!

Are you happy with the time you get to spend with academics? Would you like more or less seminars or lectures? Want to make your voice heard? Today is the launch date for a campus wide survey on contact time satisfaction – Time’s Up! To make change at Warwick, we first need evidence, so the aim of this survey is very simply to identify whether you are satisfied with the time you get to spend with the academics on your course. It’s mainly for undergraduate and postgraduate taught students, sorry PGRs! The survey will be completely anonymous, but at the end, we will have collected data that can be broken down by year and course so that your SSLC representatives can make the case for you to get the education you deserve. All you need to do is login in to the SU website using your University login details and fill in the questions on the screen. The questions are focused on your current level of contact with academics, so answer for this year only, and equally please be as honest as possible.
