After much anticipation and speculation, we can now reveal the line-up for this year’s Summer Party on campus in Week 9. Back of the net!
We are proud to announce a diverse line-up of artists which takes in everything from drum’n’bass and dubstep to indie, rock, contemporary RnB and a host of student talent. Topping the bill will be a mighty double-header of festival heavyweights Feeder and a DJ set from Chase & Status, with support from up & coming acts Labrinth and Yasmin, rock monsters The Blackout, indie favourites Los Campesinos! and Battle of the Bands winners Fly By Night. On top of that there’ll be live acoustic music in the second tent from student acts representing the cream of this year’s Un-plucked, before the Audio Criminals take over in the evening to bring you a thumping selection of DJs from local student nights Mixology, Tetris, Notorious and Eve!
Don’t forget that in addition to the music there’s a free funfair and inflatable arena, a special 'Alice in Wonderland' theme at our Curiositea tent, an after-party in The Copper Rooms ’til 4am, and affordable food & drink available throughout the day! All this takes place on the lush fields behind University House on Sunday 26th June, and gives you an ideal opportunity to celebrate the end of exams with your friends and coursemates alike. If last year’s event was anything to go by, it’ll hopefully be a day of sunshine and merriment which will prove one of the year’s most unmissable highlights!
Tickets go on sale to all Warwick students at 12pm midday on Tuesday 3rd May (Week 2) and cost £38. We look forward to seeing you there!
