Thurs 13th - Warwick Debating Union presents: Is Democracy Necessary? - Atrium, 6pm - The forces of democracy won out in the Cold War, but is democracy still progressive? Is democracy necessary to achieve high standards of living and to protect human rights? Is democracy the way forward? Guest speaker: Peter Facey - director of Unlock Democracy/Charter 88.
Thurs 13th - Idioteque - Terrace Bar, 9pm-1am - “Occasionally a clutch of music geeks plan a night so divine that John Peel might look down from heaven with an approving grin. Idioteque is a weekly journey through lo-fi, post-rock, electronica and other experimental sounds” (The Fly Magazine)
Fri 14th - Top Banana Relaunch – The Jungle Party! - CR, 10am-2pm - Well you should have heard by now that Spank the Monkey is back for some unfinished monkey business so don your Spank mask and get yourself down to The Copper Rooms for some cheap entry and a great selection of £1 drinks at what will be the biggest night on campus!
Fri 14th - Get Funked - Terrace Bar, 9pm-1am - An illogical progression through Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul and Beats.
Sat 15th - Pressure feat. Pendulum DJ set - CR1, 10pm-3am - Say no more, the longest running Drum n Bass brand in The Midlands plays host to the biggest name in the game. Pendulum return to one of the favourite crowds for some more dirty, filthy D&B!
Sat 15th - Crash - CR2, 8pm-2am - Back in its spiritual home of Saturday nights! This is the loudest, rudest and downright scariest night at Warwick - fronted by that hottie, Chris Carter.
Sat 15th - Mixology - Terrace Bar, 9pm-1am - The new face of The Terrace Bar on Saturday night. Mixology is the perfect blend of expertly-made cocktails and a cutting-edge house soundtrack provided by campus favourites Audio Criminals.
Sun 16th - RAG Quiz - Atrium 7:30pm - Flex the grey matter at our weekly quiz.
