Come see Attack the Block presented on 35mm film on the big screen in L3!

Set on Guy Fawkes Night, a group of young thugs headed by their leader Moses (John Boyega) run a routine mugging on nurse Samantha (Jodie Whittaker). Allowing Samantha to escape, a meteorite crashes into a car close by and the gang checks it out in hopes to find more valuables there. Unbeknownst to them, it wasn’t just a rock from space which wrecked the car, but an aggressive alien falling from outer space. Attack the Block follows the group around their South London council estate as they fight the invaders as well as face other, more local, threats as well. I enjoyed this film and the comedy it brings to the overfilled science fiction genre and would recommend it for those who enjoy a bit of action too. [Holly Beaumont]
