The Warwick Fencing National Novices Competition 2026 sees university fencers with up to two years experience from around the country come to compete in three weapon categories in a fun and friendly environment. The competition will take place at St Nicholas Park leisure centre in Warwick on 28/11/2026, with first check-in (foil) closing at 8:45am. Entries for the competition close on the 24th November.

Before you buy!

Please note that Fencers may not compete in both the Sabre and Epee events - though they may compete in the Foil & Sabre or Foil & Epee. As there is a limit of one ticket per person please ensure you buy a ticket to compete in two weapons if you wish to do so.

You must be a university fencer and have up to two years full experience in any weapon in order to compete.

In order to compete, fencers are required to use:

• 800N Plastron

• 350N Jacket

• 350N Mask (With Regulation double-securing back)

• 350N Glove (800N for Sabre)

• 350N Breeches

• Long Socks
