VOTE SAUL FOR DSO

About me:

Hello, my name is Saul, I am 20 years old and a first year MORSE student. After experiencing 2 years of severe depression, my school were found guilty of direct disability discrimination - a feeling of closure so many disabled students are denied! I attended a specialist special needs school for 4 years. I served as head boy for 2 years, where I counselled students regarding both mental health and their disabilities and delivered academic support specific to their additional needs. I am an experienced advocate for disability rights, inclusion and support.

My Goals:

• Full choice and accessibility to online and in person teaching

• Improve the accessibility of campus both physically and socially for all

• Increase the communal inclusion between those with special needs and without

• Create funding for specialist equipment to support societies and sports clubs in preventing unnecessary exclusion

• Streamline and demystify the mitigating circumstances and adjustment process to increase ease of access
