Come and join us for our Trans Activism and Inclusion Conference, based in Radcliffe (Warwick Conferences) led on by your Trans Students' Officer, Dorian Valentine.

This conference is taking place over two days, and we welcome trans people and active allies from all walks of life, including politicians, comedians, activists and academics, to speak on what it’s like to be trans in our current society with the aim for trans people and allies talk about their experiences and inspire important conversations in the community.

  • Jen Ives - Comedy, writing and transness, the arts

  • Dr Igi Moon - Psychological/academic look at transness, sexuality, gender, anti-conversion therapy, being a trans academic

  • Ella Osho - Intersectionality, transness, the arts, ballroom, time as last year's Trans Students' Officer

  • Seven Standen - Disability, transness, education and journalism, transness at Warwick as an alumni

  • Freddie Copson - Disability and transness, neurodiversity, chronic illness and intersectionality

  • Jess O’Thomson - The Good Law Project, transness in journalism, transphobia and the law

  • Alex Charilaou - Being trans in politics/Labour and student trans activism

  • Shon Faye - Transphobia in the UK, trans liberation in Journalism

  • CN Lester - Transness in the arts, music, writing, activism

  • Zarah Sultana - Fighting for trans rights in politics and in a transphobic party, allyship, intersectionality

  • Joni Ayton-Kent - Acting and transness, anti-capitalism and trans identity

  • Dr Ares Osborn - Research/academia and transness, discrimination in academia etc
